WEDNESDAY MORNING FORECAST UPDATE

Proud to serve all of Berks, Carbon, Columbia, Dauphin, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Northumberland and Schuylkill counties.

Cloudy.

Rain.

Heavy at times.
Temps rising

through the morning.

Highs in elevations

will range from 54-59

degrees.

Highs in valleys

will top out between

57-63 degrees.

Once the cold front

moves through, temps

will drop for the

remainder of the day.

By 5-6pm, the

highest terrain

will start mixing

with snow.

Eventually changing

to all snow.

Best shot for an inch

or two would be the

mountains of southern

Luzerne and northern

Carbon counties.

If you live in an elevation

outside of those two

counties, a TRACE to HALF

INCH is possible in spots.

Valleys, you're up next.

Any changeover to

snow would be

very brief. It would

occur as the tail end

of the precip moves

through. So if you're

out between 7-9pm,

you may see a period

of snow. But it

will NOT stick.

It's not a guarantee

that you will see flakes.

I'm not too optimistic

on valleys of southern

Dauphin, Lebanon,

Berks or Lehigh

seeing a changeover.

Anyone north

of there is who I'm

referring to about

a potential brief

changeover in

lower elevations.

With that said,

winds will

be gusty.

Highest wind gusts

will occur during

and after the cold front.

Watch out for

areas of fog.

Becoming clear.

Temps continue

to drop overnight.

By daybreak,

expect 25-30

degrees across

the area.
