A line of snow
A line of snow
and mix will move
through the area
over the next few
hours. As this happens,
conditions will
rapidly deteriorate.
Most of you will only
pick up a TRACE
to 1" of SNOW.
to 1" of SNOW.
Exception would be
near I-80 in Eastern
Luzerne and Carbon
counties. Up to 2"
is possible there.
These snow totals
are through 8am.
After our cold front
moves through,
temps will drop
into the 20's.
As the snow/mix
moves through,
winds will be gusty.
Brief whiteout
conditions possible.
When there's a small
amount of snow,
the most accidents occur.
Be careful if you get
caught traveling
as this line moves through.
For the remainder
of the day,
snow squalls are possible.
Where they set up
is unknown at this time.
If you get a squall,
an additional Trace
to 1" is possible.
Again, rapidly changing
road conditions
possible during squalls.
Wind gusts after
the cold front will
hit 40-50mph at times
during the day.
Some of you may work your
way back into the low
30's by mid-day.
Cloudy skies
