Tuesday: Periods of light snow. Between snow showers, there will be dry periods. Travel will NOT be treacherous throughout the morning hours. However, moderate to heavy snow will move in between 2-4pm this afternoon. Once the snow picks up, roads will get worse. I'm expecting a general 2-5" snowfall across the county. Higher elevations, like Mcadoo, may be in the sweet spot for 6" but overall it's not a significant storm. High: 32
Tuesday Night: Snow showers ending by 10pm. Otherwise, turning mostly clear overnight. Low: 8. Wind chills up to -10 degrees.
Wednesday: Snow squalls are possible! Remember, visibility drastically decreases when caught in a squall. Light accumulations possible in areas that see heavier squalls. High: 12 to 18. Temps will drop throughout the afternoon as Arctic air pushes in. Wind chills in the morning will range from -5 to -10.
Wednesday Night: Mostly clear. Increasing winds. Very gusty overnight. Low: -7 to -12. Wind chills in the evening could hit -20 at times. However, overnight wind chills are expected to be near -30 in higher wind gusts.
Thursday: Sunny! High: 4 to 9 degrees above 0. WINDY. Wind chills in the morning range from -20 to -30. By 1pm, wind chills will still feel like temps below zero. In higher wind gusts, up to -10 degrees.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear. Low: -4 to -8. WINDY. Wind chills ranging from -15 to -25 overnight into early Friday morning.
