Fannock's Forecast - Thursday to Saturday

Thursday

Snow/Sleet will overspread the area late morning to early afternoon from Southwest to Northeast. Snow/Sleet will be heavy at times. Accumulating at 1" per hour during the heaviest bands. High: 30

Thursday Night

Snow/Sleet will transition to sleet and freezing rain after 5pm. It will start out in the lower elevations first, then creep up into the higher terrain. A period of PLAIN rain will occur in LOW elevations once temps rise above 32 degrees overnight. However, temps may NOT exceed 32 in HIGH elevations, so significant icing is possible; especially the higher up you go. A period of SNOW will move back into the area AFTER 3-4am. Everything wraps up by 7-8am. Temps will botom out at 28 degrees before slowly rising.

 SNOW TOTAL:

 1-4" BEFORE CHANGEOVER
2-5" ADDITIONAL AFTER CHANGEOVER
Lower elevations = lower totals
Higher elevations = higher totals

 ICE TOTAL:
0.2-0.3" in lower terrain
0.3-0.5" in higher terrain
