My thoughts: Isolated showers or storms are possible as we finish off the afternoon and enter the evening hours. There's about a 20% chance of something firing up in our area during this time. However, a line of showers and storms will move through LATER on this evening. I'm thinking between the hours of 9-11pm. I posted images below showing you timing on the batch of rain moving through. One thing that sticks out to me is that the area of rain gets weaker and shrinks as it moves East. Once again, the PA mountains are decreasing the intensity of our storms. Yes, severe storms are possible. Yes, damaging winds are possible. However, it won't be widespread. It will only be isolated. Most areas will just see some downpours, thunder, lightning....the average thunderstorm. But some locations will encounter a strong to severe thunderstorm which can produce damaging winds. Just be aware of the potential. Images below are from the latest HRRR showing the precipitation as it moves East.
